Session 3: Achieving Wellbeing Goals and Building Resilience

Creating new habits to achieve your well-being goals and build resilience takes consistent action often

pushing your comfort zone. In this session, I will provide several tools to help you overcome what often

gets in the way of success. You will learn and practice strategies to calm the mind, manage emotions,

and how to be more mindfully aware so you can respond to stressful situations with grace and ease.

Wellbeing and Resilience Workshops Series Summary

Each of the 3 sessions in this series covers a topic related to understanding well-being and resilience and

tools to help you increase your wellbeing and resilience. You will learn about how the mind’s default

mode can work against your wellbeing and some practical tools to help you re-train the mind to work for

you. The sessions are designed to provide useful tips and practices that can be implemented right away.

Each session will also include mini-meditations, mindfulness practices, and/or seated gentle yoga and

breathing practices that can be done anytime during the day. It is not necessary to participate in all

three sessions to gain benefits that will set you up for success.

Instructor Bio:

Paula McCree

I am a Certified PART Instructor through the Mass General, Benson Henry Mindbody Institute with

additional training in mindfulness practices via the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program

designed by Jon Kabot Zinn. In addition, I am a Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance and

recently Certified Life and Success Coach through the Jay Shetty Coaching Certification School.

In service to my future self, I have been on a personal mission to be sure that I do everything I can today

to lead a mentally, emotionally, and physically healthy and fulfilling life today. The well-being and

resilience practices I offer through 1:1 coaching, workshops, and yoga programs are designed to help

participants discover what works for them to lead their best life in service to their future self while

navigating and managing all the changes that come with that with grace and ease.
